At the end of the second qualifying round in the British open golf championship the leading scores are: Jurado, 144; Jolly, 147; Hodson, 148; Duncan, 150; Davies, 151; Barnes and Rufus Stewart (Australia), 152; Compston, Hagen, J. Bradbeer, R. A. Whitcombe, Robson. Massy, 153; Mitchell, Barber, Braid, 154; Boomer, 155. Others include G. A. Whitcombe, Havers, Armour, 156: Herd. Gadd, 157; Ray, 158; Vardon, J. H. Wethered, 159; J. H. Taylor, 163; Michael Scott, 165. Players with scores not exceeding 162 qualified. A total of 112 players Qualified, including Sarazen, whose score was 152, and Melhorn, 154.
