COMMISSION AT OTAKI Press Association. OTAKI, To-day. Questions appertaining to the resting system of tho Borough ot Otak . to the advisability of abolishing thes borough and to the form of government that could be substituted, were considered by a commission which was set up to inquire into and report. At the beginning of the sitting, Mr. T. Brook, Valuer-General, gave an historical account of the developments in the status of Otaki in recent years, and Dr. Shore gave an outline of the failure of the sewerage scheme. The commission is likely to last 20 or 12 days.
