LOST COAL TRADE
RECENT N.S.W. CONFERENCE REPORT AWAITED (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.30 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The Acting-Premier, Mr. E. A. Buttenshaw, states that Mr. John Brown’s comments on the coal position do not represent the Government’s views. The Government realised that Australia had lost her export coal trade, and called a conference of owners’ and miners’ representatives some time ago to try to find a solution of the stagnation. Their report was not yet ready.
