JUDGE CONSIDERS GOOD OF THE RACE
SHORT, SHARP SENTENCE Press Association. PALMERSTON X.,' Tuesday. In the Supreme Court to-day, Keith Drysdale, aged 20, found guilty of indecent assault on a girl under 16 years of age, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labour. Mr. Justice Ostler refused probation, paying that for the good of the race it was necessary to protect young girls from contamination. A short, sharp, sentence would do accused a lot of good and would be a lesson to others.
