Mrs. Frank Macky left for Rotorua this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Elmes, of Feilding, are at the Royal Hotdl. Mrs. A. G. Quartley, of Auckland, has gone to Rotorua. Miss 11. St. Clair, of Rotorua, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Graham has returned to New Plymouth from a visit to Aucklai d. Mrs. "Whittle, of Wellington, who is visiting Auckland, is staying at Arundel. Mr. and Mrs. E. Griffiths, of Auckland, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. and Miss Kendrick, of Rotorua, are spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Wilson arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. William Hosking have returned to Auckland after a motor tour of the North Island. Mrs. J. Bradshaw, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. C. West,, of Parnell. m * • Mrs. C. H. Young and Mr. Jack Young have returned to Auckland after a short visit to Wellington. At the Albert Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Allan, of Dunedin, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Stuck, of Melbourne. Mrs. G. Fenwick, of Auckland, is spending a few days in Wanganui as the guest of Mrs. T. P. Mac Lean. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rawe and Miss Rowe have returned to Wellington from New Plymouth and Auckland. * * * Mrs. F. Farmer, who has beer, staying with her mother, Mrs. W. Carson, of Remuera, has returned to Whangarei. * * * Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hunt, of Sydney, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Battrell, of Christchurch, are staying at the Star Hotel. Guests at the Hotel Cargen include Mrs. Howard Tripp and the Misses M. and R. Tripp, of Timaru, and Mrs. and Miss Broughton, of Sydney. Miss Marie Jones, of Auckland, who is on an extended holiday in the South Island, is the guest of Mrs. K. Stothard Brown, Hamilton Avenue. Fendalton. At the Grand Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. E. Andrews, of Broken Hill, Miss S. Williams, of England, Mr. and Mrs. W. Lewis, of Johannesburg, Miss M. Bailey, of Sydney, Mrs. Henry, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. E. Marsh, of Wellington. Mrs. A. Cresswell, formerly Miss Vaile, of Auckland, arrived at Wellington by the Tamaroa yesterday. Her husband, Lieutenant Cresswell, R.N., has been appointed to H.M.S. Veronica. Mrs. I-I. Norman, wife of Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander 11. Norman, R.N., accompanied by her family, arrived in Wellington yesterday by the Tamaroa. She and her husband will shortly come to Auckland.
