To dish canned pineapple, after opening the can and before removing the contents draw a long, thin knife-blade from the centre to the side of the can, cutting through all the slices at once. Repeat the movement until the slices are in pieces of the desired size. Potatoes cooked in milk are delicious. Add salt when cooked, and beat with fork.
