APPLE TIME.—To mark the opening of the New Zealand apple season in Great Britain, a short ceremony was held at the New Zealand Government offices, in the Strand, London. The Rt. Hon. Mr. L. C. M. S. Amery (Secretary of State for Dominions) officially declared the season open. Sir James Parr is on the left.
