The Hon. F. J. Rolleston, Minister of . tice left Wellington Inst evening for irnxton where he will inspect the Courthouse to-day. Subsequently he «-ill visit Flock House. Mr. Rolleston will return to Wellington this evening.

Dr. and Mrs. W. H. Read, of arrived by the Maunganui this morning to spend a holiday in New Zealand.

Mr. W. Burton, New Zealand manager for the Fuller firm, arrived from Wellington this morning by the Limited.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Craig, who have been visiting Queensland, returned to Auckland to-day by the Maunganui from Sydney.

Mr. J. A. Dickinson, of Los Angeles, was a passenger by the Makura, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from San Francisco.

Mr. H. Bennett, managing director of the Yates-American Machine Company, arrived by the Maunganui today from Sydney.

Mrs. and Miss Callendar and Mrs. Thorneycroft, of arrived at Wellington to-day from Sydney by the Marama on a world tour.

Mr. Sydney R. Cowley, who has been on a business visit to Sydney and Melbourne, returned to Auckland at noon to-day by the Maunganui.

Mr. and Mrs. Fabian, of Christchurch, arrived in Wellington by the Marama to-day. Mrs. Fabian was formerly Miss Clarke, of Cremorne, Sydney.

Mr. Maurice Ralph, general manager for E. J. Gravestock Ltd., is now in Auckland making arrangements for the Evans-Gange concert season which will begin on Saturday.

Mr. C. Vanwely, managing director of Jenne and Co., Batavia, who has been on a world tour, is a through passenger by the Makura, which arrived at Wellington yesterday.

Mr. W. Gregory, joint manager in New Zealand of the Commonwealth and Dominion Steamship Line, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. He is accompanied by Mrs. Gregory.

Mr. Lynton Vicars, chairman of T. *nd G. Vicars, England, arrived from Sydney to-day by the Maunganui. He is accompanied by his daughter. Miss Hilary Vicars, and is staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mr. L. Wickham-Legg, lecturer in modern history at New College, Oxford, arrived by the Niagara yesterday from Sydney. He is touring the British Empire with a Rhodes Travelling Fellowship, and is the first Rhodes scholar to do so.

Mr. H. H. Sanderson, advertising manager for John Court, Ltd., who has been visiting Australia, returned by the Maunganui to-day. While in Sydney ho underwent an operation, but he has now almost recovered.

Mr. and Mrs. "Walter Lewis, of Johannesburg, South Africa, arrived in Auckland to-day on the Maunganui from Australia, in the course of a world tour. They have already travelled through both North and South America.

Mr. R. Hankey, an English visitor who has been travelling through South Africa and Australia, arrived in Auckland to-day by the Maunganui from Sydney.
