PERMANENT WAVE
ON PERMANENT WAY LONDON, May 1. A permanent wave on the permanent way will shortly be a commonplace of railway travel. The ”Flying Scotsman ” for the first time in British railway history, carries a fully equipped hairdressing saloon. Outside it is a waiting room, obviating passengers returning to their compartments if the hairdresser is engaged.
