PRICE OF FERTILISERS

(From Our Oivn Correspondent) HAMILTON, Monday. Asked yesterday if there would be a further rise in fertilisers, Mr. William Goodfellow said he was prepared to state definitely that there was no possibility of a rise in the immediate future. The price of superphosphates was more likely to fall than to rise. He regarded the rumour being circulated throughout the Waikato to the effect that a rise was due shortly as a scheme to induce farmers to place substantial orders at existing rates .
