TRAIN FULL FOR AUTUMN HOLIDAYS
Holiday travellers are still crowding the trains. All yesterday and again to-day seats were fully occupied on incoming and outgoing expresses. When the Limited arrived from Wellington this morning there were 66 passengers in a secondclass car, made to carry 44. This state of affairs had existed on the whole of the journey. Passengers were even standing in the first-class compartments, and every sleeping berth in the three cars was occupied. Last evening 16 cars went out on the second express for Wellington in place of the usual nine. The Thames, Whangarei and Rotorua expresses were all full to-day, showing that the public is appreciating the autumn holiday excursion fares now prevailing.
