LATE MR. HENRY SHAW

BURIAL AT PUREWA City Council representatives and many friends attended the funeral of the late Mr. Henry Shaw, which took place at Purewa Cemetery on Saturday. A service conducted by the Rev. J. Hislop was held first at the house of Mr. C. J. Shaw, Fairview Road, Mount Eden. The graveside service was also conducted by Mr. Hislop. The City Council was represented by the (town clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, and Messrs. M. J. Bennett and A. J. Entrican. Mr. H. E. Vaile represented the Auckland Museum and- Mr. Cunnitgham, acting-city librarian, was also present.
