STRIKING FORM
A LTHOUGH Dillon Huon has not succeeded in winning a race since his good showing at Alexandra Park, behind Padlock, the Hawera-trained pacer has been well up in several of his recent essays. At New Plymouth he surprised by his display in the Cup, when he extended Tui Wildwood, and ran 4.39 3-5 for the distance. He also finished second to Joy Bird in the 10-furlong flutter. Tomorrow Corrigan’s horse must have a fine chance off 4.41 in the Cup, ,and, failing success in that event, should be handy in the mile harness off 2.19.
