EDENDALE

“GALLOPING FURY” “Galloping Fury,” from Peter B. Kyne’s story, with Hoot Gibson as the star, is now being shown at the Edendale Theatre. The story is laid in the West, and embraces all the colourful atmosphere of the cow country. Many original elements are introduced, and the plot is built around a newly-discovered beauty mud found adjacent to a volcanic spring. Sally Rand is clever in the feminine leads. She is a fine actress, a good rider, and, last but far from the least, very attractive to gaze upon. The entire supporting cast is chosen with painstaking care. Each character fits his part to perfection. Otis Harlan is fine, as he always is, while Max Asher adds more delicious moments of comedy as a grotesque cowboy. “A Gentleman of Paris,” Adolphe Menjou's latest picture, is the second feature on the programme.
