The Takapuna Grammar School first fifteen played its first match of the season on Wednesday afternoon, when it met a team from H.M.S. Philomel on the Devonport grounds. After an even and interesting game the navy team was successful by S points to 3. Moore and Sheridan scored tries for the winners and xfidd for the Grammar School.
