SUBURBAN TOURNEY FIRST DAY’S PLAY The result of the first day’s play in the South Suburban croquet tournament, played at Papakura yesterday, is as follows: A GRADE Section A.—Mesdames Bullock and King beat Mesdames Hope and James; Mesdames Jarvie and Elliott beat Mesdames Little and Andrews.; Mesdames Graham and H. Munro beat 'Mesdames Hope and James; Mesdames Bullock and King beat Mesdames W. Stevens and McCullough; Mesdames Jarvie and Elliott beat Mesdames Hope and James; Mesdames Graham and H. Munro beat Mesdames Little and Andrews. Section B.—Mesdames Nosworthy and Mcßae beat Mesdames Osborne and Robertson; Mesdames Leighton and McEntee beat Mesdames Osborne and Robertson: Mesdames Nosworthy and Mcßae beat dames Coxhead and Gallaher beat Mesdames,. Coxhead nd Gallaher beat Mesdames Forbes and C. T. Munro. 3 GRADE Section A.—Mesdames Whyte and Bates beat Mesdames Shaw and Bregnan; Mesdames Shaw and Bregnan Mesdames J. Smith and S. H.
