CHINESE DEATH

GAS LEAKS FROM LAUNDRY IRON Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. A Chinese laundryman, Wing Soon, was found dead in a bed at his premises in Manchester Street, to-day. The cause of death was gas poisoning, the gas having com© from a laundry iron. At an inquest this afternoon, Mr. Mosley, S.M., said that death was due to suffocation by gas, but there was no evidence to show whether it was accidental or otherwise.
