CAPTAIN DIES AT SEA

NALDERA’S COMMANDER COLLAPSED AFTER DINNER (United P. A. —By Telegraph — Copyright.) Reed. 9.20 a.m. SYDNEY, Tuesday. Captain C. E. Dayas, commander of the Naldera, died five minutes after dinner last night, at sea. A radio message states that the Naldera, which left Sydney at noon yesterday, with a large number of London passengers, also the Olympic teams, was about 120 miles to the south when Captain Dayas, who was aged 54, collapsed and died. He leaves a widow and two children in London. Burial will take place at sea this afternoon. Captain Dayas was formerly master of the Baradine. Mr. J. Hartley, the chief officer, will command the vessel till she reaches Hobart.
