SOUTH CANTERBURY OPPOSES SIDEY TIME
OVERWHELMING MAJORITY Press Association. TIMARU, Tuesday. A poll taken by the Timaru “Herald” over South Canterbury, including the town of Timaru and five country townships, on the question whether Sidey time should be continued, resulted in an overwhelming vote against’ it, the figures being: For continuance, 2,498; against, 5.1 IS.
