TOUR FOR FARMERS
- VISIT TO BRITISH ISLES TO BE GUESTS OF KING Farmers from all parts of the Empire will reach London at the beginning of next month for a three months’ tour of Great Britain and Ireland. They will be received at St. James’s Palace by the Prince of Wales, and the King and Queen will give a reception Jo the party at Buckingham Palace on [June 12. On June 9 the visitors will inspect the cattle at the Windsor farms of the Royal house and they will be entertained at tea by the King. A five days’ conference in London will bring the visit to an end. The tour will be followed by similar visits by British and other farmers to New Zealand and Australia next year, and to Canada in 1930 and South Africa in 1931. Much good is expected from the series of tours.
