TRAFFIC BREACHES

120 OFFENDERS FINED BUSY COURT DAY Over 120 offenders against city traffic regulations were dealt with in the Police and Magistrate's Courts to-day. POLICE PROSECUTIONS For failing to notify change of ownership of oars, F. C. Bull,* Walter Castaing, A. L. Edmiston were each fined £l. Harrison and Gash were fined £1 on each of three charges. For having unauthorised numberplates, the same firm was fined £5. The International Harvester Company was fined 40s on each of two charges of failing to notify change of ownership. For speeding, R. H. Swales and C. Howarth were each fined £l. and A. Commons and T. R. Lewis were each fined £2.

For cutting a corner R. T. Geraghty was fined 40. J. Pollock, for driving over a railway crossing when a train was approaching, was also fined 40s. For having unlighted cars, A. Harris, Harrv Hartley, W. Ingram, S. Liggins, H. McLeod, F. W. Monteith, C. McDonald. J. Mounce, K. G. Pinker, L. D. Page. C. Rhodes, W. D. Steel and H. N. Pountney were each fined 10s. R. E. McMaster was fined 20s, and R. C. Harris, E. Murphy and Wong Lock 40s each. For leaving cars unattended, W. A. Gumming, J. C. Craig, H. F. Carlson, M. E. Dahl. J. H. Francis, M. Hardley, J. H. V. Mansill, L. Mandeno, T. S. Miller. H. S. Share. C. R. Stanley. S. L. Wallath, W. H. Upton and T. W. Graneson were each fined 10s. CITY PROSECUTIONS

For failing to obey a traffic officer, Bert Leatherbarrow and C. H. Wallen were each fined 20s, and Muriel Hawley was fined 3 os.

For leaving cars unattended, A. E. Healy, Hugh Caughev, Arthur Dree, G. E. Cash, A. S. O’Connor, S. Vella, C. W. Anderson, Valerie Valeska and H. W. Cooke were each fined 10s.

For turning to the right, A. F. Ellis, A. J. King, Sydney Smith, Joseph De Luca, Arthur Fra ter and D. Barrett were each fined 20s.

For dangerous driving, P. J. McCormick, Joe Quintall and Bernard Fabich were each fined 50s.

For passing vehicles on Grafton Bridge, J. Stringer and W. Wearn were each fined 20s, and Ernest Luks 10s.
