OPOTIKI ROBBERY
MONEY TAKEN FROM SAFE OVER FORTY POUNDS STOLEN (From Our Oxen Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. Another robbery occurred in Opotiki last night, when about £.43 was stolen from the safe of Kelly and Fleming, Ltd. The robbery apparently occurred between 5 and 7 o'clock last night. During the absence of the proprietor, Mr. C. H. Fleming, from the office, the safe was) left open. On his return, Air. Fleming found the cash box. containing cheques, notes, cash and papers, was missing.
