VIGOROUS PROTEST
AUSTRALIAN WINE BOUGHT (United P.A.—-By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. TORONTO, Monday. The purchase of two car-loads of wine from Australia by the Liquor Control Board brought a vigorous protest from the growers of the Niagara Peninsula, who charge that the Government first imposed a duty of 50 cents a gallon on native wines, and then purchased a foreign product bonused by the Australian Government.
