AS OTHERS SEE US

VIEWS OF CANADIAN TYRE MAN Mr. M. A. Moore, of the “Gregory” tyre organisation, who had been visiting New Zealand on business connected with his firm, arrived back in Canada recently. Interviewed in Vancouver, Mr. Moore told the Canadians some very interesting things about New Zealand. “This has been a wonderful year for wool over there, owing to excellent weather conditions,” he said. “Wool has not reached such a high price for many years as this v year. New Zealanders are extremely pro-British and Empire products are always the first choice, providing such are of good quality. The rapid sales strides made by Gregory in New Zealand are due almost wholly to this fact.” When asked what definite results he expected of his New Zealand trip, Mr. Moore said: “First of all, the distribution of Gregory tyres and tubes throughout the North and South Islands of New Zealand has been established on a basis that will take care of a considerably greater volume. The standing of Canadian merchandise on the New Zealand market is extremely high and is a good indication of wliat can be expected from Canada’s growing trade with her sister Dominion in the land of the Southern Cross.”
