RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM
“A GENTLEMAN OF PARIS” “A Gentlemen of Paris,” starring Adolphe Menjou, is now being shown at the Rialto and Regent, Epsom, Theatres. Menjou takes the part of Edward de Marignan. who is very popular with several ladies, and is blessed witli Joseph, a very efficient valet. To all of his women friends Edward sends word that he has turned over a new leaf and is to be married. However, some personal calls to end these pleasant acquaintanceships are necessary. The first he calls on is Yvonne. He and Joseph send notes to others, they burn up all love letters and incriminating photographs in the apartment, and there is only Henriette to dispose of. Edward goes to the modiste shop operated by Henriette and begins to say liis farewell. She tries to warn him that something is amiss, but he says too much before he catches the signal, and sees a man’s feet protruding from a nearby wardrobe. He pulls beck the curtain and discloses . The second feature on the programme stars Ramon Xovarro in a thrilling story of pirates and love, “The Road to Romance.'’
