ROYAL, KINGSLAND

VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES Adolphe Menjou, the screen’s most immaculate, suave, sophisticated, perfect man of the world, will be seen at his best in “A Social Celebrity,” now being shown at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland. In this picture he is supported by Clive Brook. A strong vaudeville programme will also be presented to-night. Apples, serpents, fig leaves and Paradise are only symbolically present in ' The Garden of Eden"—for it is a modern clothes version of the oldest story in the world. It is at the Hotel Eden, outside Monte Carlo, that many humorous and romantic adventures befall Toni Le Brun. French shop girl off on a lark with her firend, the Baroness Rosa de Career. The startling climax to those adventures is a wedding which ends in a riot.
