WAIKATO SHOW
WINTER EXHIBITION OPEN FOR A WEEK The 22nd annual show and industrial exhibition of the Waikato Winter Show Association will open on Tuesday*, May 29, at 2 p.m. It will be open from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. eacrx day until the following Tuesday. In the 21 years since its inception the show has grown from a village gathering to a really great fair. This year special excursion trains for farmers will be run from Wellington, Napier, New Plymouth and Masterton. Excursion fares have been arranged from all North Island stations and excursion tickets to Rotorua, with a break of journey* at Hamilton, will bo issued for tourists. Large entries are expected in all the numerous sections. In addition there will be displays by prominent manufacturers, including all well-known makes of motor-cars. This year the association has arranged for a Post and Telegraph office in the building. All letters must be sent care of the Winter Show Post Office and must be called for.
