A motor-car containing a man and a woman was wrecked at a levelcrossing at Hallam, on the Dandenoifg line.
Mrs. Marie Nugent, aged 50, of Hallam, and Mr. Arthur O’Leary, 25, of Gardenvale, were killed. A fast .milk train crashed into the car, the driver of which thought he would be able to clear the crossing, but he misjudged the train’s pace. Reed. 9.45 a.m. PERTH, To-day. A fatal level-crossing accident occurred near the Midland Junction, when a train from Perth collided with a car, killing Mr. Henry Russell, a Mundaring storekeeper, and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Russell.
