TWO SMALL FIRES
Slight damage was done to a wooden shack of two rooms in Great North Road shortly after six o’clock on Saturday evening. The City Brigade prevented the flames from spreading through the building.
A six-roomed House in School Road, Morningside, was slightly damaged by a fire which broke out yesterday afternoon. The Mount Albert brigade was called out. The house is owned and occupied by Mr. J. Berryman.
