Scones that have become stale can pe freshened by dipping them quickly *nto milk and then putting them into a hot oven for a few minutes until they are thoroughly heated through. If sausages are pricked with a darn-ing-needle and turned with a knife instead of a fork, the sausage will **©ver protrude from the skin but be the same shape after cooking as before.
