Wa 1 Vcgt'~. 53. w M y* n IT WAS with a very small showroom at No. 5 Liverpool Street in 1884, that Mr Lewis Eady founded the firm destined to become the famous Music House which is now so well known to every Aucklander. concern, and Aucklanders have m turn thought first of Lewis Eady Ltd., “for everything musical.” More and more have Aucklanders patronised the firm, and it is that patronage — the reward of unfailing service, that has brought about its location in such beautiful surroundings to-day ! «S ec?i . vr-' IB A h Sllis The sincere personal service which has been rendered from the very opening of that first shop, was soon responsible for a change to to larger premises at 15 Karangahape Road, then to an additional and larger shop in Queen Street, and now as the result of 44 years of such service, we see Lewis Eady Ltd. in their palatial new building at 190 Queen Street. When Mr Lewis Eady first commenced in business he had as his policy “ personal service first” and since that time,, he and his fellowdirectors have considered consistently how they could serve most helpfully, economically and honestly, the needs and requirements of music lovers. And Lewis Eady Ltd. will continue to give that same personal service —reaching to all —the same for all, whoever they are, wherever they live —service that never fails, from day to day or from year to year!
