“WILD WEST ROMANCE”

WITH NEW STARS Another face, new to patrons of Fox pictures, will be Lillian Gilmore, a young player who has been recently signed to play the feminine lead in the initial picture of Rex King, the new Western artist. This young man is to make a series of “saddle operas” and will replace the famous Buck Jones in his position with that company. The first vehicle from King has been temporarily titled “Wild West Romance,” a romance certainly, in that it brings two new faces to the screen. King is a somewhat unusual figure in Hollywood, from the fact that his physique stands out above many of the males in the motion picture colony, and also that he travels only be means of his trusty steed “Margy,” having yet to make his first rid© in tram, train or motor-car. King also declares he would suffocate if he had to sleep within four walls, so he has pitched his tent in a corner of the Fox court, where he sleeps. His ruddy complexion and general superb health indicate that this mode of living is certainly right. Sue Carol has been given a prominent part in Lew Cody’s “A Man About Town,” now in production at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios, under the direction of Malcolm St. Clair. Ailen Prince co-stars with Cody, and George O’Hara, Norman Trevor, end Heinie Conklin are included in the supporting cast. . -»•
