SIR ROWLAND HILL DEAD

PROMINENT RUGBY MAN (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian P.Aj—United Service) LONDON .Wednesday. The death has occurred from pneumonia of Sir Howland Hill, an expresident of the English Rugby Union. Sir G. Rowland Hill was borri in 1855. He was at Christ’s Hospital (Bluecoat School) and for many years was in tl*e Principal Probate Registry of Somerset House. London. He was "for many years honorary secretary of the English Rugby Union, and a past president. He was knighted in 1926.
