CHIP OF THE OLD BLOCK
GREAT WAY is the name allotted to the handsome colt by Peterwah from Medway, which was purchased a few months back by those enthusiastic followers of the popular pastime, Bridgen Bros. The two-year-old is in the capable hands of Harry Kinnimont, who was at one time associated with the youngster’s dam, and since joining the Royal Oak stable the colt has made splendid progre'ss. He favours his sire’s gait and when extended is a typical Peterwah. For a juvenile he shows a fine turn of speed, while his action is perfect, and as his head is screwed on the right way Great Way should have a great future before him. He may be given a run at Cambridge and, while it is a solid task to set a trotter of such tender years, the colt will teach a lot of the older ones engaged How to trot.
