WAIKATO SEAT
MR. P. KEIGHAN TO STAND COUNTRY PARTY’S CANDIDATE (From Our Own Com'espondent) HAMILTON, To-day. Mr. P. Keighan, formerly a farmer of Whakatane, but recently organiser for the Farmers’ Union, has been appointed the Country Party’s candidate for the Waikato seat. Mr. Keighan contested the Rotorua seat unsuccessful in 1922 and for a long time has taken a keen interest in politics. He has served on several local bodies.
