OPOTIKI BY-ELECTION
COUNCILLORS RETURNED (From Our Oxen Correspondent) OPOTIKI, To-day. The by-election which was held yesterday to fill the three vacancies on the Opotiki Borough Council, caused by the resignation of Crs. Pearson, Fleming and Burrett, resulted in the election of Mr L. Arrowsmith, Mr. W. T. Burrett and Mr. T. Hitchens.
