COMPANIES FINED Auckland companies that had carried on business without paying: licence fees, or had not given notice of cessation of business to the Commissioner of Stamp Duties, were prosecuted at the Police Court to-day. T. Dean Construction Company and the First British Empire Films. Ltd., were each fined 20s. The Australasian Trade Expansion Company, the Auckland Bell Bus Company, Collectors, Ltd., and the Kamo Collieries, Ltd., were each fined 10s.
