Press Association. WELLINGTON, Thursday. Four charges of forging Post Office Savings Bank receipts were preferred against Gordon Lewis Keene, aged 33, in the Police Court to-day. The amount involved was £l9l. Ernest Alfred Anderson said that he left his bank book at the office of Sir Kenneth Douglas, where the accused was employed. Some time later he called to collect the book, but it could not be found. Accused admitted stealing the book. He stated that he was pressed for money. He was committed for sen- , fence.
