CAPITOL

BIG DOUBLE BILL Be be Daniels in “She’s a Sheik’’ is the first feature on the programme to be shown at the Capitol Theatre tonight. Bebe plays the part of a beautiful, high-spirited Arabian girl, who returns from an American schooling with definite ideas of her own. The veil is taboo. It has no place on one's face, and, as for men, she will choose her own husband. Grandpa, Sheik Yusiff Ben Hamad. is placed in a rather ticklish situation, because Kada. a neighbouring sheik, has already sworn that he will have Zaida by hook or by crook. She fights a duel -with the man she hates, kidnaps the man she loves, tries to tame him and change his hate into love, saves the Foreign Legion troops when they are surrounded by Arabs, and prevents a shooting squad from killing her fiancee. The second feature is “The Irresistible Lover,” starring Norman Kerry and Lois Moran. A 1 Wilson, the screen’s greatest trick and stunt aviator, who stars in “The Air Patrol,” the Universal air film, is not only an exceptional flyer but he has also the distinction of being the first flyer to make a commercial flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco. He made the trip in 1919 under the auspices of aviatiofl officials of both cities. His skill as an aviator is well displayed in “The Air Patrol.”
