NEW LYNN BOARD PROTESTS The failure of the Railway Depar ment to erect warning bells at th* Totara Avenue level crossing was tinsubject of indignation by members of the New Lynn Town Board at It*meeting on Tuesday evening. Mr. Feilding said that had th board’s request for an extension of the overhead bridge been granted there would have been no further accidents. He added that he would not be astonished any day to hear of som of the school children being killed « T that spot, as the crossing was used by a large number of them, and there was nothing to indicate when, a train was approaching. It was resolved to again draw tho department’s attention to the danger.
