MEN’S SOCIAL CLUB
With a membership reaching 55, the Dominion Road Men’s Social Club has had a successful year. The report presented at the third annual meeting showed that the club had held 16 debates. mock parliaments and trials, and evenings of elocutionary items during the year under review. The finances were in a sound position. Election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. F. Beck; vice-president. Mr. S. E. Chappell; hen. secretary, Mr. A. Whitehead.
