ZEEBRUGGE BELL TOLLS
ANNIVERSARY OF RAID British Official Wireless RUGBY. Tuesday. The anniversary services commemorating: the raid on Zeebrugge, which were attended by survivors, were held on Monday in London, Liverpool, and Dover. At Dover eight bells was sounded on the famous Zeebrugge bell, which was used during the war as an alarm on the mole, and was afterwards presented to Dover by the King of the Belgians. Further celebrations were held yesterday in Belgium and London.
