“ADAM AND EVIL” Lew Cody and Aileen Pringle arc the brilliant stars in “Adam and Evil,” now being shown at the Capitol Theatre. The story starts just as Adam and Evelyn Trevelyan are finding matrimony monotonous. Gwen de Vere, a boisterous blonde, meets and mistakes Adam for his twin brother Al. an old sweetheart of hers. ►She insists; they dine. Evelyn suspects and goes to the cabaret. but Adam for her sake of peace bluffs her into believing that he is Al, and fiirt ~ with her in order to still further convince her. Evelyn is thrilled. Worldly Al now turns up from Mexico, butth* girls cannot tell Adam from Al. A screaming mix-up is eventually settled by reconciliation of the married couple, and a promise of marriage by Gwen and Al. The, second feature on the |»rogramme is Peter E. Kyne's story. ‘‘The Valley of the Giants,” starring Mi!'on Sills and Loris Kenyon.

On© of the largest and most accurate sets ever constructed for a motion picture was the accomplishment of technicians for ‘ Surrender,” the spectacular production co-starring Mary Philbin and Ivan Mosjukine.
