AN IMPORTANT DECISION (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. noon. SYDNEY, To-day. The High Court of Australia has given an important decision affecting music copyrights, under which the owners of halls will no longer need to take active steps to prevent the performance of a piece of music which, after the hiring of the hall, they may learn is copyrighted.
