CRAIG.—On April 23, at Epsom, George Craig, 7 Great North Road, third son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Craig, Thames; aged 53 years. GARDNER.—On April 22, at his late residence, Pukemiro Junction, Hugh, the beloved husband of Anne Gardner; aged 66 years. Late of Washington, Durham, England. HADWIN.—On April 23, suddenly, John James, loved husband of Elizabeth Ann Hadwin, Onehunga, in his 63rd year. HADWIN.—On April 23, suddenly, John James, loved father of Mrs. J. Blair, Te Papapa, and Mrs. L. B. Ward, Mount Eden, in his 63rd year. HALL.—On April 23, at her daughter's residence, Mount Roskill, Henrietta Hall, beloved mother of Mrs. Poole, Mrs. Blanc, Mrs. Caldwell, Mrs. Carter and E. Hall; aged 78 years. OWENS.—On April 24, 1928, at the Auckland Hospital, the result of an accident, Charles (Joe, watersider), dearly beloved husband of Helena Owens, of 26 Troonville Avenue, Edendale; aged 48 years.
