“TELEVISION” FIRST JOURNAL PUBLISHED Tho appearance of the world’s first television journal has created quite a stir in radio circles in England. The journal is “Television,” the official organ of the Television Society, and the editor is Mr. A» Erinsdale, A..M.1.R..E. Publication is monthly by the Television Press, Ltd., and the price is 6d per copy. The first issue contains interesting articles on the new science and its allied subjects. The constructional section, which will probably be of the most interest to all readers, contains articles on the construction of a selenium cell and also of a simple televisor. The paper deals mainly with tho Baird system and its readers may become sub-licensees for this system for a period of two years free of cost, provided they build one televisor as described in the journal, for experimental purposes. Mr. J. L. Baird, the English television pioneer and inventor, opened tho first television sales department at Selfridges, in Oxford Street, London. during the last week in January.
