“ADAM AND EVIL-
“Adam and Evil.” starring Lew C*c and Aileen Pringle, is the first fat. ture on the programme at the Caxrtr Theatre. In “Adam and Evil.” the scenes reveal a young couple reading the morning paper and paying no attention whatsoever to each other until they discover the news is broken into two sections, each being in possession of only one piece. From this is developed a most unusual plot, delicatelv flavoured with sophisticationan ideal vehicle for the Inimitable Cody in a dual role. Miss Pringle also reveals herself to be a finished coicedienne. The second feature is “The Vaßey of the Giants.” starring Milton Si.ii and Doris Kenyon.
Conrad Nagel, Eleanor Boardnut, Dorothy* Sebastian and Lena have been added to the cast of "Damond Handcuffs.” which is a powerfi drama of modern life ranging from the diamond mines of South Africa to the night resorts of New York aafi other large cities.
