TRESHAM GOES WELL HASTINGS, To-day. A heavy fog delayed training operations this morning. MoLintain Heat.li and King Midas did a round in 1.42£, both going well. Clarendon beat Dark Girl over five in 643, Vertigern and David Garrick went once round in 1.404, David Garrick finishing very strongly. Over a similar journe3 r with Ro3’al Picture as pacemaker, Tresham took 1.39£. The Hawk was restricted to half-pace work. Havana beat Mystrum over six in 1.181, and Jeanette held Superb King safe over five on the plough in 64J. Moa Bird alone was not extended to do the same distance in 65. Coot went well when defeating Huikai over seven furlongs on the course proper in 1.29, a good gallop. Epistle held a slight advantage over jjypnotic over six on the grass in 1.17. Royal Damon ran once round in 1.39. His sale to " Mr. E. L. Riddiford has been completed. Orazone beat Plimmerton over seven on the plough in 1.31 1-u, Royal Time beat Crishna over six in 1.18, Molong beat Calluna and Maureen over a similar journey in 1.171. High Heather, Mixed Heather and Braemen did a round in 1.45, but were not ridden out. Pale Star beat Gordon Swift, and Jen over five in 65, and Cohesion was kicked lip to finish with Princess Nata over seven in 1.35. Peneus and Red Fuchsia, each with lOst in the saddle, ran a round in 1.41 4-5. Ballyfarnon alone schooled overfive hurdles, jumping fast and straight.
