LETTER-BOXES ROBBED
THIEVES IN REMUERA AND PARNELL A number of letter-boxes in tlie Remuera and Parnell districts have been interfered with recently. One or two have been broken into by prising open the locks. It is not yet known whether any correspondence has been taken, as the postal authorities have no means of checking any letters which have been posted. . This is a particularly mean kind ol theft and causes an endless amount of trouble to the post office, police and public alike.
