ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS
MT. ROSKILL NOMINATIONS TWENTY FOR NINE VACANCIES The election of members of the Mount Roskill Road Board, which will take place on Saturday, May 5, has drawn 20 nominations for the nine vacancies. Mix J. Warren, the returning officer, announces the following nominations: —Messrs. G. E. Tansley, S. Scarborough, E. Herd, A. St. C. Belcher, L. A. Tozer, W. W. Kerr, J. R. Robertson, E. W. Foote, T. Davies, E. F. Jones, F. Ward, .E. A. Pearce, E. J. ITamlet, J. Patterson, J. Donald, T. Cummack, S. I. Goodall, A. Roberts, W. R. Swales, J. H. Cooper. Messrs Tansley and Scarborough are ex-chairmen, and Mr. E. F. Jones is the sitting chairman. Sitting members who seek re-election are:—Messrs. Belcher, Tozer, Kerr, Robertson, Foote and Davies.
